How It Works
The Constitutional Erosion Tracker uses multiple large language models to analyze executive orders for patterns of democratic backsliding, constitutional violations, and abuse of executive power.
Data Collection
Executive orders are sourced directly from the Federal Register in PDF format. Each PDF is processed to extract the full text of the order, which is then submitted to our analysis pipeline.
We collect orders as they are signed and published, maintaining a comprehensive archive with full provenance and source links.
Multi-Model AI Analysis
Each executive order is analyzed by multiple AI models (including GPT-4, Claude, and others) using structured analytical frameworks. This multi-model approach helps identify consensus findings and reduces individual model bias.
Threat Scoring
Each framework dimension is scored on a 0–10 scale. An overall threat score is computed as a weighted average, and a consensus threat level is determined based on model agreement.
